Volumouse

Volumouse is a unique and handy utility, that allows you to adjust your speaker volume by using your mouse wheel. In order to preserve other functionalities of your mouse wheel, the program offers several combinations, so that volume adjusting will only be used when for example an additional keyboard key is pressed. We liked the option best, which would automatically use the mouse wheel for volume adjustment when you move your pointer over the taskbar - anywhere else on the screen, the mousewheel has the standard functionality. There are various combinations available, including an option that will only use the mouse wheel for volume if Media Player is in the foreground.

AutoHotkey

AutoHotkey is a script driven automation utility that enables you to automate almost any task on your PC by running applications or documents and/or sending keystrokes and mouse clicks. The program supports many advanced functionalities that allow you to create complex with flow control, math commands, variables and expressions, file functions, message boxes and much more. You can even create custom data entry forms, user interfaces, and menu bars. AutoHotkey does have an initial learning curve and requires you to learn a simple scripting language, however it includes very detailed documentation, as well as a Script Recorder, that can script simple task automatically by recording your mouse and keyword activities. Other features include support for AutoItv2 scripts, compile scripts to .EXE, keyboard remapping and more.

Tagkeys

Tagkeys is a combination of keyboard macro utility, clipboard manager, data organizer and text insertion tool. It enables you to quickly insert frequently used text snippets, signatures and other types of information into any document. The commands can be executed by selecting them from the tag lists that hides along the side of your screen, or by using special keyboard commands (Tag Keys) that allow you to insert text without interrupting your typing. Other features include support for multiple tag sets, rich text insertion, and more. Tagkeys can be used freely, however an optional registration ($19.95) adds additional features like backup and sharing.

Mouse and Key Recorder

This software is an enhanced automation tool that allows recording and replaying virtually any data input performed by the keyboard and mouse. The program also contains 80 additional commands. The macros can be replayed interactively, by a scheduler or by command line.

PopChar Win

PopChar lets you insert characters from all installed fonts into your documents. It works similar to the Windows Character map, only faster, since you can just click on the desired character, and it automatically appears in your current document. In addition, it also offers a HTML mode, which will insert the HTML symbol code instead of the actual character. You can choose to exclude common characters (letters, digits and accents), inserts characters in `styled` or `unstyled` mode, and access the program from the system tray.

WireKeys

WireKeys is a hotkey-driven system utility that runs in the system tray and provides access to running tasks (with option to kill tasks), favorite programs, shutdown/restart and more. It also includes additional text clipboards, a BossKey, an automated screen capture tool and an option to quickly minimize all windows. Advanced users can also run selected text as from command string. You can assign Hotkeys for any program, define parameters and actions to take after launch, as well as delay the startup time.

BabyMouse

BabyMouse is a simple tool that allows you to temporarily disable the right-click function of your mouse. It is intended to make it easier for small children to use the computer, eliminating the problem of accidental right-clicks and the resulting context menus. The program also disables the mouse wheel. You can return your mouse to normal at anytime by clicking on the tray icon. BabyMouse also enables you to disable selected keyboard keys as well - these features are not available in the trial version.

Plancoin

Plancoin is a "boss key" program: it allows you to hide some selected windows in one keypress. It lets you set up two hot keys: one to hide the windows and show them back, and one to show the Plancoin Settings window. The program then runs in background and responds to the hot keys. To determine which windows must be hidden, you have to set up a list of sentences. In the Include mode, every window whose title contains one of the sentences will be hidden. This mode is the default one. In the Exclude mode, every window whose title does not contain any of the sentences will be hidden.

Mouse Wheel Control

Mouse Wheel Control enables you to control the functionality of your mouse wheel and add program specific that override the standard wheel functions. The program is particularly useful to add scroll wheel support to applications that do not natively support it, for example by substituting the scroll signals with the Up and Down arrow commands from your keyboard. You can choose from a variety of available commands, including the F keys, multimedia functions (volume, next track etc.), browser controls (back, forward) and more. Mouse Wheel Control allows you to assign the functions separately for each program, and also for different dialogs within a program.

Workspace Macro

Workspace Macro is a keyboard macro and mouse macro recorder, that enables you to create macros in any program by simply recording your mouse movements, which can the be played back at any time. It supports repeat options as well as scheduling (via Windows task Manager) and uses a smart recognition system that can detect if a dialog has moved from the original recording position, which works with many, but not all dialogs. The program is very easy to use and excellent for beginners that want to automate mouse activity, however it lacks advanced options, cannot handle unexpected dialogs or dynamic input.

CrossHair

CrossHair displays two full-screen lines intersecting your mouse cursor when you press a hot key. As you move the mouse cursor, the lines follow over any program or window. This is useful for eyeballing any kind of chart or tabular data on screen, and for aligning objects in graphics or design applications.

CursorUS

CursorUS is a simple utility that allows you to navigate your desktop with continuous movement of the mouse, by extending it beyond the screen borders. If you move your mouse off the right edge of the screen, it will appear on the left edge, eliminating the need to drag it all the way across your desktop. The same works with the upper and lower edge of the desktop. You can disable/enable the effect as needed. It takes a little getting used to, but can help you work more efficiently.

Distance Meter

Not all mice have the same wheel parameters, so, in order to perform measuring with specified mouse, you must perform calibration for it for only one time. In order to perform calibration, click menu Options / Calibrate, then turn mouse upside down and roll it slowly for exactly 1 Meter, when wheel is pressed. Afterwards you can perform multiple measuring by the same way as you did with calibration. In order to stop measuring you must press Spacebar key.
