Automatic Print Email

Automatic Print Email enables you to automatically print email messages as they arrive in your POP3 account. You can create filters to only print emails that match certain criteria, and also delete messages or print them on a different printer. The program checks your POP account every X minutes and then sends messages that match your criteria to the printer. While the filter options are an improvement over the previous version, they still need a lot of work to be effective. For example, the program lets you create a filer for `order confirmation` which will make sure that emails with that subject will be printed - however, it will also print all other emails, including junk mail, unless you specifically exclude each message, which would be an impossible task. Furthermore, the filters cannot be processed in a specific order, eliminating the possibility to add any logic to the process. Automatic Print Email will work well with dedicated email accounts that receive little or no spam, but will waste a lot of paper with most other accounts.

Live Signatures enables you to define macro commands in your outgoing email messages, that will be replaced with a designated text when the message is sent. The program supports signatures from stored messages or text files that can be used for disclaimers, price lists or any other type of information that you may want to include in a message but not want it to be part of your standard Outlook signature text. The Live Signature macros can be inserted as needed and also offer dynamic variables for date and time, random quotes, or the name of the song that is currently playing in WinAmp. Since the program integrates with Outlook, you can also use the macro commands within your regular Outlook signatures. We found it inconvenient that the macro commands have to be remembered and typed in order to use them, rather than having them available from a drop down menu.

Winmail Opener is a small and simple utility that allows you to view and extract the content of TNEF-encoded files. These files usually come in the form of winmail.dat attachments, which contain messages that were usually sent via Outlook, using RTF formatting. If your email program cannot read these formatting instructions, it will convert the message into an attachment - the winmail.dat file. Winmail Opener can decode and display the RTF message text along with embedded attachments. Other features include drag-and-drop support and a command line mode for batch decoding.

GALHider

GALHider allows network administrators to easily hide and show users in the Outlook Exchange Global Address List (GAL). Many times, test accounts and contacts are created in Active Directory, user logins exist long after employees leave, or unused Active Directory accounts are left undeleted. This leaves erroneous users and contacts displayed in the Exchange Global Address List. Users on your network who open the Outlook address book may see the directory cluttered with old or invalid email users. GALHider works by searching for a list of users or contacts in Active Directory, based on a search term or member group that you provide. It then sets the msExchHideFromAddressLists flag to hide the list of users from the Exchange Global Address List. This is effective for all users who run Outlook on your network. Using GALHider, a network administrator can now easily hide users from the Exchange address book list with just a few clicks.

Innovatools Email Control enables you to categorize and filter your email messages before downloading them to your email program.
